Royal Worcester China Hand Painted Highland Cattle Vase by Harry Stinton (Code 1956)
A Royal Worcester hand painted vase by the sought after painter, Harry Stinton. Harry was the son of the famed John Stinton and painted the same subjects including the highland cattle featured here. The vase is of baluster shape with a gilded neck and the cattle painted over a pale ground. The reverse also features a vignette evocative of heath land. It is signed by the painter to the lower left of the main image and it has the Worcester marks to the base including the date code for 1917.
Very good order for period, slight gilt wear only.
