Description
A gorgeous 18ct gold statement ring with large high quality amethyst central stone and a halo of diamonds surrounding it. It has the 18ct gold Hallmark for the Sheffield Assay office and the date code for 1982. It has had very little wear and has probably been kept safely in a jewellery box for most of its life. The tops of the shoulders are plated with white gold or rhodium to match the white tone of the diamond halo. The amethyst itself is of superb deep colour and oval facet cut.
