Description
This Art Nouveau style glass and polished pewter item is very much in the Liberty style, but is unmarked. The decoration is in translucent green enamel and it is fixed to the base using plaster which is a traditional method. The shape of the pewter mount is very much in the Nouveau style as is the enamel decoration. It was perhaps intended either as a shot glass, or as a small vase. An interesting piece.
Condition
There are a couple of small chips to the rim of the glass, otherwise normal period wear with some darker spots in the metal.
