It would be equally suited to wine or water etc. The goblets have star cut feet and the jug also has an applied disc foot with star cutting. The goblets are plenty large enough for use and easily comparable in capacity to modern wine glasses.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe items are not marked (they never were at this period) but the design is known and referenced to Richardsons around 1860. They are produced in high quality glass and look surprisingly contemporary considering they are around 160 years old.
