Description

This unusual wine glass is in a Bristol green glass colour and would date around 1800. It is made in three parts with the bowl, stem and foot constructed separately and then joined together. The stem has been made as a sealed hollow cylinder and is similar to the Roemer style glass but without the prunts. The foot is conical and the pontil scar has been left rough snapped. This is certainly an anomaly and a very interesting fine for the collector of Bristol style glass ware.

Condition

Very good for period, very minor wear.
