Antique Ottoman Empire Hand Made Silver Dish with Copper 1 Para Coin Inset (Code 2855)
An interesting hand made silver small dish inset with an Ottoman empire copper coin. The dish is hand beaten and unmarked but tests as silver, likely at the 800 standard common in the Turkish region. The coin appears to be a 1 Para - Sultan Abdülmecid I (1839 - 1861), with the tughra for Ahmed III.
The dish is hand made/beaten so is rustic in appearance. The coin is well worn. The dish is not fully round.
