Description

A vintage natural coral branch choker necklace dating around the 1950's.  It is made from branches of Mediterranean red coral (Corallium Rubrum) all strung together ending with two coral beads.  The natural coral branches are graduated lengths and range from 45mm at the longest to 8mm nearer to the clasp.  Its length would suggest that it is worn as a choker style necklace.  Natural coral of this species is becoming increasingly hard to acquire due to protections over harvesting.

Measurements (Approx)

Length : 36.5 cms (14.25")

Weight: 32 grams (before packing)

Condition:   Generally good, clasp working fine. Possibly some small damages to individual branches but very difficult to be sure due to design.  Presents nicely as you can see in the images. Please note this is a short choker style, please check your measurements before purchasing.
