Vintage Natural Coral Corallium Rubrum Branch Necklace 25" Dusky Salmon Pink (Code A618)

Description

A vintage natural coral branch necklace dating around the 1950's.  It is made from branches of Mediterranean coral (Corallium Rubrum) and strung with a white metal spring ring clasp.  As expected for a natural product the coral is of random lengths and shapes with the average piece being approx 1.2 cm long with some longer and shorter examples.  It has good overall length for standard dress wear and of course natural coral of this species is becoming increasingly hard to aquire due to protections over harvesting.  Colour is a dusty salmon pink.

Condition:   Minor aging.  No significant faults but product is a natural material so of course has natural flaws etc.  Clasp works fine.  Cleaned and ready to wear or gift.
