Description

An Edwardian period silver dish of pedestal form with twin handles.  It looks a little like a trophy and would have been made for sweets etc.  It was made by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company of London and has a hallmark for 1907 along with the makers mark.  There is the further Goldsmiths makers marks with their name and Regent Street address impressed into the underside of the bowl.  The company are of course one of the most famous silversmiths in the UK.

 

Condition

Good order with some minor period wear.  Handles not quite perfectly even in form.  Some rubbing of the Goldsmiths mark and address to the underside.
