Antique Victorian Nailsea Glass Feather Pull Up Loop Glass Flask White & Clear (Code 2746)

Description

An antique Nailsea Victorian period glass flask in clear and white.  It uses the classic 'pull up loop' design synonymous with production at Nailsea near Bristol.  These were used, not just decorative and would be stoppered with a cork which would be attached to the neck with a string (hence the indented rings in the neck).  It was free blown and has a rough snapped pontil at the bottom.

Condition

Some scratches in places and an open air bubble on the shoulder (see final image).  Generally very good for the type and period.
