Description
A modernist design wine taster by famed French silversmith Jean Després. It would date to the late 1950's or 60's. It has an asymmetric design with planished hemispheres to one side and inverted teardrops to the other. It has a finger loop and thumb rest for use and the base is slightly concave. To the base it has the J Després signature mark etched in. There are no other marks, although it tests as sterling grade silver. A great item from this important 20th century artist.

Minor wear only, very good order.
