Description
A good quality modern dress ring in 9ct gold. It is set with an ametrine in a rectangular emerald cut approx 1.75 carats. This is flanked by a citrine and an amethyst on each side which are baguette cut. These of course reflect the colour shift in the main ametrine stone. The baguette cut stones are themselves flanked by tiny diamonds. The band is quite broad and showy and the ring certainly catches the eye when worn. Inside the band it has a full Birmingham hallmark with date letter for 2009 and the makers mark QVC. At this period QVC were using Bolivian ametrine for their jewellery and this stone may well be of this origin.
