Description
A very attractive 9 carat white gold ring channel set with five emerald cut iolite gemstones approx 1.25 total cw. The iolites have a distinct light purple tone and are pleochroic so the colour can shift with the viewing angle and lighting, with these examples going from a steely blue grey to the dark lavender seen here under the studio lights. The ring band tapers slightly towards the bottom but remains relatively chunky. It has a Birmingham hallmark probably for 2007 and the sponsors mark QVC
