A Wedgwood Light Blue Jasper Ware Medallion Plaque - Earl Mountbatten (Code 8167)
A limited edition release Wedgwood plaque featuring The Earl Mountbatten of Burma, Admiral of the Fleet. It is from a limited edition run of just 750 pieces of which this is 687, and it was issued in 1979.
The plaque features the profile head and shoulders portrait of Earl Mountbattten facing dexter and it is on the pale blue jasper ware ground. The medallion is bordered with a classical white jasper frame in laurel style leaves.
The medallion features printed details in gold to the reverse along with impressed marks. It comes with its original hard clam-shell case. No certificate present.
Plaque in excellent damage free order. Case also good with minor wear. No certificate.
