Description
A late 19th century Arts & Crafts copper planished jug. It has a lid with an internal skin, and the interior seems to be tinned, suggesting it was for use with food/drink. The brass handle is riveted to the body and it has a thumb rest. There are no makers marks, just a number 8 to the underside. A stylish period example.
Condition
Good for period, no major faults. Normal age related wear with a few minor knocks around the base. Some lateral movement in the hinge.
