Antique Chinese Famille Rose Canton Celadon Glaze Plate with Fu Shou Mark - Qing (Code 2056)
A Chinese porcelain small plate in green celadon glaze and famille rose palette, painted with bird, insects, flowers and fruit. It is in the Canton style and a 19th century example. It is marked to the underside with a Fu Shou bat and peach mark for happiness and longevity. Not a particularly common mark, and generally considered to be mid 19th century, which would fit with the style of this plate. An interesting little example with profuse decoration.
Some wear and rubbing to the decoration although no significantly worn areas. Some kiln frit adhered to the foot rim from firing.
Diameter: 14.5 cm ( 5 3/4 inch)
