Antique Copeland White Stoneware Moulded Jug with Pewter Lid Victorian c1851 (Code 2475)
A Copeland white stoneware moulded jug dating to the mid 19th century Victorian period. The body is moulded with a bold floral and leaf design. There is a pewter flip top lid with a flower bud knop. The base has a (rather indistinct) Copeland impressed mark and a Victorian registration lozenge with the date code for 1851.
Very good for period, minor wear. Slight firing production flaws as usual for these items.
