Antique Edwardian Nurses Type Sterling Silver Pierced Work Belt Buckle 1901 (Code A857)

Description

An Edwardian silver belt buckle, possibly for a nurses belt.  It dates to 1901 and has a Birmingham hallmark with repeat mark on the other half.  The maker's mark is J.A.U. which we have been unable to reference.  The buckle is of pierced work design with frond like scrolls and a central flower in a star feature.

  • Height : 5.8 cms
  • Material : Sterling Silver
  • Weight: 33.36 grams (before packing)


Condition: Good for period with some minor wear.  No significant faults.
