Antique George III Silver Sugar Caster London 1779 Hallmark - Georgian (Code 2409)
A small late 18th century sugar caster. It dates to the George III period and has good hallmarks to the base for London 1789. The makers mark is TS. The cap comes off for filling and has pierced holes down the sides. The body has repousse detail and a vacant cartouche area.
Normal age related wear, a few indents around the cap and knop slightly off true. Generally good for period, see images for general presentation.
