Antique Indian Silver Belt Buckle with Mughal Marks and Kneeling Figures (Code 0989)
A late 19th or early 20th century Indian silver belt buckle. This item could have been used by a colonial period (high status) nurse or as a dress buckle. It has Mughal marks to each half and may be made of Rupee silver. There are metal bars to the reverse for attaching to a belt. You could of course make this into a new belt to make a fabulous accessory out of it. Hook works fine, front nicely polished, rear left natural.
