Antique Royal Worcester China Hand Painted Roses Posy Bowl Vase - Dated 1918 (Code 2266)
An early 20th century Royal Worcester posy bowl style vase hand painted with roses in the Hadley style. The body has decorative mouldings which are finished in the soft gilt tones so typical of Worcester from this period. It has the puce coloured Worcester mark to the underside with the date code for 1918, so right at the end of WW1. It as also marked for being one of the moulds Worcester took over from the Hadley factory. Beautifully painted as you can see in the images
Very good for period, wear is very light. Some kiln frit adhered to interior from firing and factory filed out.
