Antique Solid Silver Large Sugar Caster by Thomas Bradbury - Edwardian 1904 (Code 2410)
A large and grand sugar caster by Thomas Bradbury of Sheffield. It has a London hallmark for 1904 making it an Edwardian example. It has a twisted rib knop and crescent and dot piercings to the cap. The body has wrythen gadrooning and two cartouches. The cartouches are etched with initials AC & PC (or perhaps transposed). The underside of the base is marked for the retailer - Dupree Raeburn & Young of Exeter, a high class retailer and silversmiths of the period.
Good for period, minor wear with light surface scratches as expected. A few very minor indents. Some rubbing of makers mark.
