Description

An antique early 20th century sterling silver watch chain and fob.  The chain has graduated links and each link has the lion mark for sterling silver.  It has a T bar and a spring hook.  The fob is of shield shape with a vacant cartouche to the front.  The the reverse of the fob is the hallmark with date letter for 1929.  The makers mark is HB & S for Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd. The reverse of the fob is engraved N. C. J. L - RU 1929-30, presumably for a rugby union club. 
 

Condition

Normal age related wear.  Light scratches etc.  Hook working fine.
