Description
A Victorian period stick pin in 9 carat gold. It is set with an usual and very attractive abalone shell cabochon. The cabochon has been selected to provide a cat's eye type effect in a sharp light which moves as the stone is rotated. The pin is unmarked but tests as 9 carat gold. The mount around the stone has not been soldered closed, it still retains the abalone cabochon securely.
