Art Deco Sterling Silver Pin Stripe Pocket Cigarette Case by William Neale 1925 (Code 2199)
An Art Deco period Sterling silver cigarette case by the Birmingham maker William Neale & Sons. It is of pin striped design with an oval cartouche for initials (vacant). The case is also curved to fit better in a packet. The case has a spring latch opening and the hinge is sprung so the case flips open when you activate the catch. It has tabs for elastic to the interior. The hallmark is for Birmingham 1925 and also features the makers mark. A nice example of the period.
Light period wear and a few scratches as expected, very minor indents. Some scuffing of the interior gilt. Elastic not present.
