Austrian Art Deco Cold Painted Bronze and Onyx Dish with Perched Pheasants (Code 1835)
An early 20th century Austrian cold painted bronze mounted onyx dish. The bronze is of two pheasants perched on a tree the higher one with wings outstretched. The shaped onyx base has a recess for small items and with the one free branch it could be used for rings with the dish for small jewellery items.
Minor wear to the bronze paint, some small chips to the onyx. Slight movement in the bronze mounting which could be rectified by removing the base felt and tightening the nut if of concern.
