Copy of Antique Indian Cast Brass Lota Vase Water Vessel with Peacocks and Cobra Handle (Code 2652)
A late 19th or early 20th century Indian cast brass lota vessel. It features a handle formed with cobra heads and the body has peacock type birds. It is heavily formed and certainly will not knock over easily. It stands on four ball feet and is hand finished following being cast.
Some knocks around the rim, minor wear through cleaning. Some nice patina building in the recessed parts. One ball foot has excessive solder so may have been reattached at some point..
