An Edwardian Antique Limed Oak Smokers Cabinet with Glazed Door c.1900 (Code 7890)
A fine looking Antique English oak smokers cabinet in a rare limed oak finish. It has a locking door with glazed panel and comes with the key. The lower drawer and flip topped lid are locked in place until the main door is opened keeping the drawer contents safe whilst the main door is locked. To the interior are shelves and a space for a tobacco jar and there is also a small internal drawer.
To the interior side walls are pipe racks for storing pipes upright, each rack has two holes. The back panel is stamped with the makers mark and this is shown in the images for you. Also included is a small glass ashtray with white metal rim. The door glass is bevel cut, a sure sign of a quality piece.
A great looking example in the limed oak finish which combines a contemporary look with the antique heritage.
Good restored condition, clean and ready for use or display. Minor marks and wear but generally much better than average. Minor split to lower door corner. Lock working and key present.
