Fine Vintage Sterling Silver & Amber Cabochon Statement Bracelet Baltic/White Amber (Code A395)
A wonderful vintage Sterling silver bracelet set with large amber cabochons. The item is hand made but doesn't carry a maker's mark so is likely made by a small indenpendant silversmith or jeweller. It features leaf forms and organic shapes with the cabochons set to the top of the bracelet. It has lovely quality baltic amber with a transparent included piece, a butterscotch example and a scarce piece of white amber. The band is bifurcated and it opens using a friction catch with a fold over safety clasp. The back of the leaves and mounts have been given a black oxide finish and the band also has a small stamp for 925 which is Sterling grade silver.
A superb and perhaps unique piece of statement jewellery.
At time of writing I have a similar necklace listed.
