Description

A fine quality custom commission Royal Worcester armorial trio.  The pieces are in fine white china with particularly good decoration with fine gilt work.  The painting includes flowers and butterflies along with the Walker family crest which has a Latin inscription Cura et Industria (care and industry).  All three pieces carry the same crest and initials.  The monogramed initials are in raised gilt work. To the underside the pieces have the Royal Worcester mark in puce all with the same date code for 1895 making them late Victorian in period.   They also feature the supplying retailers mark for Phillips's of Oxford Street, London.   
 
These items really are of superb quality and display particularly well. 
 
 

Condition

The saucer and side plate are in very good order for period.  The cup has a short hairline to the rim which has darkened and is shown in the images for you.
