Georgian Antique Direct Pull Corkscrew with Cork Gripper Teeth Wood/Steel (Code 2208)
An early 19th century Georgian period direct pull corkscrew. It has a steel worm with cork gripping teeth at the top and a turned wood handle. The metal goes through the handle and is fixed in place at the top. I can't quite make out the wood, but it is likely oak or rosewood from the grain.
Wear, ageing an patina as expected. Worm good, not bent or damaged. Handle with nibbles and knocks, see images for overall condition.
