Japanese Kutani Ware Porcelain Vase Egg Shape Form with Feet as Children c1900 (Code 2535)
A late 19th century Japanese Kutani porcelain vase. It is formed in the shape of an egg and has the feet modelled as children holding the item up. To the underside is a hastily scripted partial Kutani mark in iron red. An interesting form for Kutani.
Minor wear, small spot of paint loss to rim. Minor production flaws as usual.
