Description

A pair of antique George V period cufflinks.  They are formed from two half sovereigns (which are 22ct gold).  The sovereigns have had links fused to them and then there is a chain link to a lozenge fixing.  There are no hallmarks on the lozenges, however they also test as high carat gold.  The cufflinks are formed with the head of the King outer most with St. George vanquishing the dragon on the inside.  Both half sovereigns are dated 1912 so the sovereigns are genuine examples (not decorative tokens).  
 
 

Condition

Generally good for period with some light wear.  No significant damages to the coins.  Some light scratches to the lozenge fixings.
