Pair Antique Deer Antler & Sterling Silver Victorian Knife Rests c1890 (Code 2183)

  • £9500

A pair of rests made from sterling silver and deer antler.  They are late Victorian in period and have silver caps and feet.  Both are marked with the makers stamp for Harrison Fisher of Sheffield.  One has a partial hallmark which is quite faintly impressed and also rubbed so the year can't quite be made out.  This manufacturer operated at the end of the 19th century and they style suggests a date around 1890.

Good examples, minor wear, some rubbing of the marks.
