Description

A Royal Worcester trumpet shaped vase dating to the very early 20th century.  This is the larger of the trumpet vase sizes and comes from one of the Grainger moulds which Worcester acquired when they bought out the company.  It is hand painted with roses in the Hadley style and signed by the artist M Hunt for Millie Hunt, one of the fine rose painters at Worcester.  To the top and bottom it has graduated gilt over the green ground.  To the underside it has the Royal Worcester back stamp in green with the date code for 1913.
 
A classic and beautifully painted Worcester vase.
 
 

Condition

Very good for period with minimal signs of wear.  The odd tiny air bubble in the glaze as expected for period.
