Set of 4 Antique Brass Candlesticks Victorian Gothic Lathe Turned & Castellated (Code 2413)

Description

A fine set of four 19th century brass candlesticks.  They are probably English examples and have castellated tops and removable nozzles with integrated drip pans.  The castellated tops can also be unscrewed for cleaning.  They appear to be cast and lathe turned form and are quite heavy.  The stems have multiple knops and there is pierced work around the top and bottom.  Great to find an original set of four together and they are likely mid 19th century in period.

Condition

All generally good.  One with some deformations to the integrated drip pan.  Normal age related wear and minor knocks.
