Six Vintage French Colonial Cambodian Khmer Warrior 800 Silver Menu Card Holders (Code 1430)
A set of 6 early 20th century French Colonial period Cambodian place card (or small menu) holders. They are in the form of Khmer warriors with weapon held aloft and set on weighted bases. They are marked to the base 'Cambodge 800' (French for Cambodia and 800 is the grade of silver). Each has a small clip to the reverse for holding the place card or menu. Very unusual pieces and bound to make a great talking point around the dinner table.
Normal wear and aging with some oxidisation. They have had a light clean and they would polish further if you wanted to do this but I have been careful to keep some of the vintage patina. They are hand made so have the usual inconsistencies associated with this
