Description
A vintage 14ct gold Masonic ring. It is set with an oval ruby cabochon which is lab grown. Lab grown stones are identical to natural gems and test the same but they are generally free of impurities and faults unlike mined stones. As they are created in a lab they do not have the environment issues of mined stones or have the worry of social problems making them an increasingly popular choice.
The cabochon has been carved out with a gold emblem inset which has blue enamel detail. Inside the band it is simply marked 585 for 14ct gold and tests as such. It would date to the 1970's.
The ring comes in a new presentation box as seen in the images.
