Description
A vintage 9ct gold ring set with a carved shell cameo portrait of a young lady. The cameo features a had and shoulders with the lady having curly hair. The mount is of decorative style with asymmetric detail and a mill grain bezel setting. Inside the band it is marked 9ct for 9 carat gold and the style of mark and design suggests an inter war date. The gold tone is quite rich as often seen in early 20th century examples and is heading towards a rose gold colour.
