Description
A vintage 9ct gold necklace set with natural garnets. This beautifully made piece hints at the modernist design and has some textured detail to the fancy links between the droppers. The chain links and mounts are all in 9 carat gold and there are various assay marks including the date letter for 1960. The necklace fastens with a spring ring. This necklace comes with provenance having been purchased from Reid & Sons from Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1961. It comes with the original endorsed receipt and the original Reid & Sons presentation box.
A beautiful piece of vintage jewellery of elegant form and with lovely bright garnets.
