Vintage 9ct Gold & Natural Sapphire & Diamond Open Work Bangle Bracelet Hallmarked 1994 (A1176)
A fabulous 9ct gold bangle with a caged frame and open work design. It is set with fifteen natural sapphires in marquise shape (approx. 1.65 carat) and there is also a ring of small diamonds and two further diamonds either side of the main design. The bangle has a hinged opening with safety catch and slide lock. It has a full English hallmark to the outside band which is very small but has the assay office as Birmingham, the 9 carat gold standard and the date letter for 1994. The maker's mark if GJ. The bottom part of the bracelet has a partial repeat hallmark.
As you can see in the images it is a beautifully crafted item and looks fabulous when worn.
