Description
A very pretty vintage late 20th century 9 carat gold ring. It is set with an orange sapphire of oval facet cut form with four claws. The mount has open work detail including roundells. The sapphire is lab grown and has exactly the same properties as a natural sapphire but has the environmental benefits of not being mined. Inside the band it has a full hallmark for Birmingham 9 carat gold and the date letter for 1993. There is also the makers mark WG. The stone is particularly attractive with great sparkle and strong colour.
