Description
A large artisan silversmith made pendant set with the largest mystic topaz we have seen. The stone is some 47 carat and in a fantasy oval cut giving an amazing dazzling display in the right light. It predominately shows blue and purple tones but will also flash green, red and yellow with the right light. The setting is a deep collet with a double band of decorative beading and it has a hand made bale with applied decoration. The reverse of the bale is stamped 925 for sterling silver. There are no makers marks and it would have been produced by a small artisan silversmiths and dating to the 1980's or 1990's.
