Description
A vintage gold coin ring with a scrolled decorative mount and plain band. The coin is a replica of a Maria Theresia Thalar but made from 14ct gold and much smaller than the silver originals. Inside the band it is marked ET, probably the makers mark and it also has a hallmark which is largely illegible but most likely an Austrian gold mark for 14ct gold. The two roundells set at the east / west sides of the mount are in rose gold. The band tests as 14 carat or better. An interesting piece in a similar manner to a sovereign ring but with a smaller coin and a more feminine look.
The ring comes in a new presentation gift box as seen in the images.
