Vintage Bell Trading Post Company Sterling Silver & Agate Set Brooch (Code A834)

Description

A vintage silver brooch by the Bell Trading Post company.  The oval cabochon is polished agate (possibly agatized wood) and is bezel set into silver with a decorative mount and rope twist band.  It has a rollover safety pin fixing to the back and the back of the cabochon is enclosed.  It has the Bell Trading Post logo and is further marked sterling for sterling grade silver.   It dates to the 1960's. 

Please note, the white mark on the agate cabochon is from studio lighting.

Condition: Very good for period with just light wear.  The anti corrosion lacquer on the back is wearing off, hence the mottled effect you can see in the image.  Cleaned, polished and ready to wear or gift.
