Description
A 1980's vintage gold ring with three natural sapphires and four diamonds. The sapphires are a dark inky blue and the diamonds are set at the cardinal points of the mount. The main sapphire is oval facet cut and 4.75mm by 4mm. The outer sapphires are 2.75mm round facet cut. The mount has been made a feature with decorative details and open work along with bifurcated shoulders in the shape of an Omega character. Inside the band it has a British hallmark for 9 carat gold using the international format which was popular in the late 20th century. It is also marked DIA for diamond.
