Vintage Siamese Sterling Silver Art Deco Period Cigarette Box With Deity Panel (Code 0938)
An early 20th century silver lidded box from Siam (modern day Thailand). It dates around 1930 and you can see the Art Deco influence has reached even this far East. The lid doesn't have a catch and is just a gravity close and the hinges work fine. A stylish piece, ideal as a desk or small jewel box.
