Description

A vintage 1960's sterling silver candlestick.  It marries the Georgian and Edwardian styles with acanthus scrolls and flower heads with further scroll detail and an egg pattern around the drip pan.  The drip pan is removeable and there is a repeat hallmark inside the nozzle.  The candlestick is hallmarked near the foot rim with a Birmingham assay and date letter for 1966.  The makers mark is B & Co. probably for W I Broadway & Co.  The candlestick is loaded and there is a wooden inset base.
 

Condition

Some light period wear as expected.  The odd indent around the base, worst shown in close up.
