Wedgwood Limited Edition Fine Bone China ' The Thames Bowl ' - Original Box (Code 1741)
A scarce Wedgwood limited edition bowl 'The Thames Bowl', released in 1979 it was restricted to just 500 examples, making this a truly limted run and an exclusive group of owners. The bowl is in fine bone china and made to the highest standards as you would expect. This example is number 98 of 500. The bowl depicts scenes along the river, and borough crests to the interior. The base has a detailed printed mark and it also comes with a short hard cover booklet with colour plates and additional information. The bowl is also much larger than normal Wedgwood fruit bowls, being 32.5 cm (12 3/4") in diameter. It come with the original box and packaging and the booklet as shown for you. It is an exceptional piece of Wedgwood china for the discerning collector or investor.
