Description
A vintage 14ct gold ring. It is set with a grey/brown star sapphire. This special type of sapphire shows a star point in the stone when under a sharp light point source such as the sun or a spotlight. Under flat lighting it has a shimmer as the light moves around the stone. An image of the ring under a point light is given in the images for you so that you can see the effect. The band has split shoulders with the shank being of plain form. It is marked inside the band 585 for 14 carat gold and tests accordingly. It dates to the 1990's.
